Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Program Scheduler / EVMS Analyst L3 position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will have responsibility for developing, supporting, and integrating program plans and schedules and ensuring compliance for programs with Earned Value Management System requirements.  The candidate will oversee developing, planning, and keeping detailed schedules; coordinating and combining schedules to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with scheduling policies and included in the Integrated Master Schedule.  

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

  • 10+ year’s relevant DoD work with practical hands-on experience
  • Proficient in managerial roles within government acquisition organizations, ensuring effective oversight and execution
  • Expertise in space acquisition environments, enhancing project capabilities and outcomes
  • Mastery of MS Project at an expert level, leveraging its tools for comprehensive project management.
  • Extensive experience utilizing MS Project Server, streamlining project coordination and communication
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently organize, prioritize, and consistently meet project deadlines
  • Skilled at simplifying complex information, facilitating clear understanding and decision-making processes
  • Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving acumen, adept at overcoming challenges
  • Self-driven and resourceful, thriving with minimal supervision and proactive problem prevention
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying concepts, plans, and proposals
  • In-depth familiarity with DoD contracts, specifications, and standards, ensuring compliance in system design and development
  • Proficient in organizing project activities to ensure logical progression and successful completion of program requirements
  • Expertise in identifying critical path tasks and utilizing Earned Value Management for accurate metrics and corrective actions
  • Capable of developing schedules aligned with program requirements and implementing Earned Value Techniques for effective monitoring
  • Proficient in Work Breakdown Structure methodologies, facilitating resource allocation and tracking
  • Skilled at analyzing and perfecting project schedules to present critical path options for program success
  • Experienced in implementing MS Project Server environments and standardizing procedures for project management
  • Committed to ensuring schedule accuracy and predictive milestone achievement for project success

Education / Certifications

  • Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME) degree 
  • Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
