Job Description

4S-Silversword Software and Services LLC is seeking a Project Manager. Work will consist of supporting efforts certify the reopening of training facilities for the Department of Labor (DOL)Job Corps program. Work may involve travel to locations across the United States. This position requires significant experience with job training programs and associated logistics and management of facilities. Specific experience with the DOL Job Corps program is preferred. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about quality work and has great attention to detail. 


Duties include but are not limited to:  

  • Providing technical Project Management support and consultation to project teams, including the development of plans, procedures, and policies.   
  • Developing a communication plan for stakeholders involved in the reopening of training centers. 
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to assess the readiness for the reopening of training centers to include: 
  • Assessment of Information Technology 
  • Assessment of physical facilities such as lighting, HVAC, and training equipment. 
  • Assessment of security and facilities access  
  • Assessment of policies and procedures to include those related to COVID-19 
  • Collaborate with experts in infectious disease to develop standard operating procedures for management of infectious disease and post COVID-19 procedures. 
  • Collaborate with experts in facilities engineering and industrial hygienists to develop SOPs and checklists 
  • Preparing project reports and presentations for program and project status meetings to report progress on project milestones and deliverables.  
  • Managing Cost, Schedule, and Performance for Federal projects. 
  • Utilizing MS Project and SharePoint to manage, develop and monitor project schedules, plan resources, baselines, and budgets. 
  • Interfacing with Government stakeholders to communicate timelines, report progress, and manage expectations. 
  • Providing guidance, planning, execution of deliverables to include responding to customer issues and concerns.  

Job Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of industry related experience in project management/scheduling  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing geographically distributed teams and work sites 
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of logistics and facilities management needs for job training centers 
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn new subjects and think well on their feet 
  • Good communication skills with sound decision making skills  
  • Self-motivated  
  • Able to lead multiple distributed teams in a high paced work environment 


Physical Requirements  

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.  Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.  Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.  There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.  Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
