Database Software Developer

Location:  Oahu, HI

Job Summary:

KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Database Software Developer to join our rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) Must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

  • Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
  • Other Duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree
  • Equivalent combination of knowledge and specialized experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree
  • Satisfy CSWF 8140.01 Code 45 requirements
  • MCSD SQL Developer course completion or certificateStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint client, MOSS 2007 and 2010, ASP.NET, JAVA, SOAP, XML/XSL, and C#
  • IAT Level II/IAM Level I (e.g. CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent)
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Security Clearance:

Position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.  Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.  Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.  May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
