Qualifications

3-8 Years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience as a web application developer with a deep understanding of software design and programming principles.  Proven experience as a web application developer with knowledge of the .Net environment, Visual Studio.  Must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms and have experience in designing and building applications. In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.

• .Net C# (with Visual Studio and TFS) - 5 years minimum experience
• Microsoft TSQL & SQL Management Studio - 5 years minimum experience
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript - 3 years minimum experience
• Microsoft Internet Information Server 8 or higher - 1 year minimum experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows client and server OS's & basic file system understanding required
• .Net MVC experience is a plus but not required
• Net experience is a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, like Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Crediting Combinations of Education and Experience standard.
• Employee must possess and maintain IA computing environment certifications and access levels in accordance with DoD Directives (DoDD) 8140/8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002.
• Candidate must have solid knowledge of information security principles and practices, as well as an understanding of security protocols and standards.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.  Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.  Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.  May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.  

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Occasional use of company vehicle while on work site

Security Clearance:

Position requires am active DoD Secret security clearance
