Job Salary: $115,000-$130,000

Job Summary

Tutulu, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Human Resources (HR) Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

As a level three HR Specialist at Space Operations Command (SpOC), the candidate will play a pivotal role in managing human capital within the dynamic and innovative space exploration sector. Leveraging their expertise in HR policies, procedures, and practices, the candidate will ensure the effective recruitment, retention, and development of top-tier talent crucial to SpOC's mission success. Their responsibilities will include overseeing various HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the member will collaborate closely with departmental leaders to align HR strategies with SpOC's objectives, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. The candidate’s contributions will be instrumental in supporting SpOC's vision of advancing space exploration and technology, driving organizational growth, and maintaining a high-performing workforce in the rapidly evolving space industry landscape.

Compensation Minimum: $115,000

Compensation Maximum: $130,000

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

• Extensive expertise in Personnel Management, with over 3 years of proven success in effectively leading and optimizing human resources functions
• Highly desirable: Over 3 years of hands-on experience in Space Operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the space exploration domain
• Preferred: Previous involvement in classified access programs, showcasing a track record of navigating sensitive and confidential environments with discretion and integrity
• Flourishes as a self-initiator, thriving in roles where autonomy and independent decision-making are paramount, while consistently delivering outstanding results with minimal oversight
• Exhibits a proactive mindset and a natural inclination towards taking preemptive actions to address issues before they escalate, showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation
• Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, adept at articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively, fostering seamless collaboration and understanding across diverse teams and stakeholders

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) - relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.


Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
