Job Requirements of Mid Financial Analyst (3.4 Lead):
Qualifications:
Experience:
- At least four years of DoD financial analysis experience, preferably in a portfolio or program office.
- Proficiency with relational databases, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Platform apps preferably at least Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and interest in optimizing SharePoint for data and dashboards.
- Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Education or Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Security:
- Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position.
Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.

Mid Financial Analyst (3.4 Lead)
Job Title: Mid-level Financial Analyst
Location: Stafford, VA

Rivet has multiple opportunities on our growing Marine Corps Systems Command professional support services team spanning program and acquisition management, logistics, finance, contracts, engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.
Duties:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Mid-Level Financial Analyst provides knowledge, support, and sound guidance in financial management to a Marine Corps Systems Command information technology portfolio. Provide the full Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution lifecycle through in-depth analysis, building financial products, research, forecasting, resolving accounting issues, and more, to multiple levels of the portfolio, not a single office.
Daily activities may include running financial data queries, reconciling and validating data, coordinating data error corrections with government financial analysts, researching financial and contract records, running reports, and refreshing dashboards. Supporting multiple levels of the portfolio requires management of the primary supported customer and multiple related customer stakeholders. Longer term projects may include developing and enhancing financial databases, queries, workflows, dashboards, and reports to inform decision makers more effectively.
Additionally, the Mid-Level Financial Analyst fulfills a few roles:
- As a prime contract’s Task Lead, is the primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders. Customer-service oriented, proactive, responsive, and effective in handling all customer communications and issues.
- Supports the synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.
- Supports standards of professional excellence for our team, including our subcontractor partners, and for our competitors.
Compensation Minimum: $92,200.00
Compensation Maximum: $116,900.00
