Job Requirements of Security Service Support:
Skills / Experience Required
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Program security experience with a minimum of 3 years working within SAP mission area or highly classified SCIF/SAPF environment
- Previous experience with classified access programs is highly desirable, highlighting a proven ability to navigate sensitive and confidential environments with discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Visitor control management administers and maintains visitor control programs including processing visitor access requests for Delta 9 facilities
- Drafts updates and enforces entry and exit inspection procedures leveraging expertise in SAP and collateral security processes
- Classified material oversight manages and secures classified containers within Delta 9 facilities
- Program access coordination processes Program Access Requests PAR and maintains program access databases
- Conduct security briefings debriefings and other administrative tasks to ensure strict compliance with all security protocols
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, fostering seamless collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders
- Self-motivated professional who excels in autonomous roles, independently makes sound decisions, and consistently delivers exceptional results with minimal oversight
- Proactive problem-solver with a forward-thinking approach, adept at identifying potential risks and implementing effective solutions to ensure operational continuity and security compliance
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Center for Development of Security excellence (CDSE) Security Specialist Course and the Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Certification Program, highly desired

Security Clearance

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Level Two Security Services Support Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will support security operations at Delta 9 by managing visitor control processes, overseeing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) requirements. This position requires expertise in security operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a secure and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP and collateral security operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamic requirements in a secure environment.
