Job Requirements of Financial Analyst I:
JOB REQUIRMENTS
Security Clearance:
Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related field with at least 24 credit hours of accounting or related coursework)
- At least one year experience in Department of Defense financial management, preferably the US Marine Corps or with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
- Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact professionally with Military Personnel and Civilians
- Basic computer skills (e.g., the ability to navigate to a webpage, make entries, use a mouse, enter data on basic spreadsheets etc.)
- Basic mathematical skills (e.g., ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. basic finance and data manipulation formulas).
Physical Requirements:
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.

Financial Analyst I
Job Title: Financial Analyst I
Location: Quantico, Virginia
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company has an opening for a Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Stafford, Virginia. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to Marine Corps Systems Command and a leader in financial management, logistics, audit support, and process improvement. Rivet supported the US Marine Corps as the first-ever DoD service to earn a clean audit opinion (FY23).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting research, financial analysis, reconciliations and reporting on an accounting team responsible for supporting the remedy of abnormal transactions and other transactions in US Marine Corps financial systems.
- Work collaboratively to Identify, gather, and package key supporting documentation for submission to an auditor.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and compliance reviews of financial data and processes.
