Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1+ years of relevant experience or 3 or more years of experience performing similar work. Associate’s Degree plus 2 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with various Navy and DoD systems.
- Working knowledge of Seaport-NxG, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, and DTS.
- Experience with financial related travel support and DTS application support
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Physical Requirements:
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.

Help Desk Support Specialist
Job Title: Help Desk Support Specialist
Location: Patuxent River, Maryland
Introduction:
Rivet Operations is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to provide critical technical support services for Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) staff. You’ll ensure smooth operations of hardware and software tools, helping users resolve problems quickly and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries in person, by phone, or electronically.
- Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, email, and OS issues.
- Troubleshoot user-reported issues and resolve or escalate as necessary.
- Document issues and resolutions in help desk systems.
- Provide Tier II software and financial related travel support.
- Provide appropriate ticket resolution support with in a timely fashion.
- Provide Defense Travel System (DTS) support including the following:
- Assistance with application support
- Instructions in creation, completion, and routing of travel documents
- Provide status on outstanding vouchers
- Provide instruction and assistance in creating and managing reservations
- Provide answers to questions concerning voucher payment calculations
Update DTS profiles and attach and detach travelers from the system
Compensation Minimum: $55,391.44
Compensation Maximum: $65,166.40
