Job Requirements of Technical Advisory – SAPMO Support (L4):
Skills / Experience Required
Technical Advisory – SAPMO Support L4 Skills and Experience:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility
- Willing and able to complete a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph, if required
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in Department of Defense roles, with a proven track record of performance and subject matter expertise
- 5+ years of recent experience in SAP and/or SCI environments
- In-depth understanding of Combatant Command, Service, and FLDCOM/MAJCOM dynamics within the special program arena, including how FLDCOM proposals impact risk postures across the community
- Proven experience advising senior leadership and SAPMOs on key SAP topics such as resource management, personnel, operations, and security
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across SAPMO teams and subordinate units, ensuring compliance with AFI requirements for SAP coordination, dissemination, and reporting
- Subject matter expertise in researching, analyzing, and solving complex problems and processes within sensitive defense environments
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to work independently and build effective professional relationship
Education / Certifications
- Technical Advisory – SAPMO Support L4 Education and Certifications:
- Master's degree: MA, MS, or ME
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and well-qualified professional to join our team as a Technical Advisor for the Special Access Program Management Office (SAPMO) Support at Level 4. This position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic and talented team dedicated to delivering mission success for our customers.
In this role, the selected candidate will act as a subject matter expert in the Special Programs functional area. They will play a key role in advising both the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) SAPMO and the Deputy SAPMO on matters related to special programs, offering critical insight and guidance to support strategic decision-making and program execution.
Compensation Minimum: $188,000
Compensation Maximum: $208,000
