Job Requirements of Project Manager:
JOB REQUIRMENTS
Education and Experience:
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.
- Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of project or program management experience in a defense, government contracting, or logistics environment
- Proven experience supervising technical teams and managing complex logistics or supply chain programs
- Familiarity with Air Force logistics systems such as ESCAPE, PRPS, LIMS-EV, SPM (Servigistics), EXPRESS, CAV-AF, and ABCS
- Strong understanding of acquisition life cycles, repair operations, and supply planning
- PMP Certification (preferred)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
- Personnel performing on this effort must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. May include lifting to 25 pounds as necessary.

Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Warner Robins, Georgia
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company has an opening for a Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team in the Warner Robins, GA area. The Project Manager will lead a cross-functional logistics support contract encompassing Logistics Management, Production Support, and Supply Planning services for U.S. Air Force programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in defense logistics, personnel management, and government contracting, with the ability to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and drive results across multiple support functions. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Oversight: Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of Logistics Manager Specialists, Production Management Specialists, and Supply Planners supporting Air Force supply chain operations.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate daily operations, ensuring alignment of logistics planning, production efforts, and supply chain initiatives with Air Force objectives.
- Performance Management: Monitor contract performance metrics, enforce quality standards, and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between contractor personnel, government customers, and subcontractors. Ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
- Resource Allocation: Manage staffing assignments, workload distribution, and skill development for personnel across logistics functions.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all support activities adhere to DoD policies, regulations, and contract requirements. Maintain records, reports, and audit readiness.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify risks in supply chain execution, production schedules, and logistics planning; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Provide regular program status updates to government stakeholders, including performance summaries, milestone tracking, and corrective action plans when necessary.
Compensation Minimum: $100,000.00
Compensation Maximum: $120,000.00
