Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Analyst, GIS Analyst, or in a related technical role.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense or U.S. government entities is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with enterprise GIS systems and Esri ArcGIS software suite.
Work Location: Fort Johnson, LA
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to {50} pounds as necessary. Optional: Physically able to walk or stand for more than 6 hours per day

IT Analyst
Kaukahi, LLC is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join our growing team at Fort Johnson, LA. The successful candidate will support Army Real Property and Installation Geospatial Information & Services (IGI&S) operations. This role requires deep familiarity with the Department of Defense and Army geospatial policy implementation, authoritative data sources, enterprise geospatial systems, and Esri’s ArcGIS suite.
Key Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but are not limited to:)
- Provide on-site geospatial program management and coordination, including support to analysts and technicians.
- Lead and coordinate multiple geospatial and IT-related projects concurrently.
- Administer, analyze, and troubleshoot issues related to GIS database applications and end-user systems.
- Conduct operational verification tests and quality control checks on IT systems.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system anomalies affecting GIS/IT operations.
- Ensure compliance with DCS G-9 IGI&S Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), including the Common Installation Picture (CIP).
- Apply the most recent version of the Spatial Data Standard for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) Army Adaptation.
- Utilize and support the Esri ArcGIS platform, including enterprise-level applications.
- Understand and work with data formats and systems such as ePRISMS, GFEBS, HQIIS, ASIP, and RPLANS.
Compensation Minimum: $95,000.00
Compensation Maximum: $105,000.00
