Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Scheduler. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse and talented group of professionals committed to delivering excellence in project management and scheduling.

As the Senior Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the technical and functional activities of our projects. Your expertise will be critical in developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated master schedules that align with project objectives and timelines. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project scheduling, with a deep understanding of scheduling tools and methodologies. Your ability to anticipate and address potential scheduling conflicts, as well as your attention to detail, will be key to ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. This role demands excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be responsible for keeping all stakeholders informed of project progress and any potential risks.

Compensation Minimum: $88,000

Compensation Maximum: $92,000

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • 1+ years of experience in administration role supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope
  • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in administration role for program/project of similar size and scope
  • Technical project progress, status reports and briefings
  • Technical project status/update/review meetings and minutes
  • Development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of technical project plans, directives, and agreements
  • Development, monitoring, and documentation of technical project cost, schedule and performance metrics
  • Technical design product quality assurance
  • Configuration management
  • Work planning and scheduling
  • Technical risk identification and mitigation
  • Workflow and information management
  • Identifying opportunities for resolving program/project issues, and recommending the technical
  • approach, organizational resources and management controls to be employed to meet the technical cost, performance and schedule requirements throughout program/project execution and life cycle
  • Maintaining the Pre-installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) and Installation Integrated Master
  • Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project

Education / Certifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in administration preferred

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
