Job Requirements of VOIP and SVOIP Technician L1:
Skills / Experience Required
- Secret Clearance
- 3 years of experience performing VOIP and SVOIP Technician functions
- Will provide technical support in the installation, maintenance, and support of secure and non-secure VoIP services
- Support includes installation, relocations, and repair of IP Telephony (IPT) desktop instruments as well as servers, network switches, Nortel (Avaya) Switch, and other devices associated with both the provisioning of IPT and the network delivery of those services
- Delivery includes successful installation and maintenance support of voice services and documentation as required by local policy
Education / Certifications
- Must possess and maintain an IAT I level certification

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level one Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and SVOIP Technician position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As a level one VOIP and SVOIP Technician, your main function will be to provide technical support in the installation, maintenance, and support of secure and non-secure VoIP services. In addition, you will engineer, furnish, install, and test all necessary hardware and software needed to expand the VoIP capabilities. The candidate may handle sensitive or classified information, requiring specific documentation and permissions.
Regular access to secure, restricted areas will be necessary to perform many of the job's routine functions.
Compensation Minimum: $58,000
Compensation Maximum: $63,000
