Skills / Experience Required
Senior Vice President, Information Technology Skills and Experience:
- Current Active SCI – ICD 704
- Over 15 years of leadership and technical expertise in IM/IT operations supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian (FedCiv) agencies
- Developed and executed enterprise-wide IT strategies aligned with mission objectives and evolving operational requirements
- Led digital transformation initiatives to enhance innovation, service delivery, and operational efficiency
- Directed IT infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, and service desk functions across enterprise environments
- Ensured high availability, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems, applications, and communications platforms
- Implemented ITIL best practices and service management frameworks to improve IT support and responsiveness
- Managed IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to deliver cost-effective, scalable solutions
- Ensured compliance with federal IT security frameworks including NIST, FISMA, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Led cyber risk assessments, incident response planning, and vulnerability management initiatives
- Deployed identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, and secure cloud computing strategies

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President, Information Technology to lead enterprise-wide Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) strategy, operations, and service delivery. This senior-level role is critical to driving the integration, security, and performance of IT infrastructure and services supporting mission-focused initiatives across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian (FedCiv) agencies.
The Senior Vice President, Information Technology will shape the strategic vision for IM/IT modernization and lead the execution of enterprise IT operations, infrastructure management, service desk delivery, cybersecurity programs, and digital transformation initiatives. This role demands alignment with federal IT policies, security frameworks, and evolving technology trends, while maintaining compliance with key industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, and CMMI Level 3.
This position requires a proven leader with deep technical expertise, a commitment to operational excellence, and a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate will bring a history of successfully managing large-scale IT programs, optimizing complex systems, and delivering measurable results in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.
Compensation Minimum: $150,000
