JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

- 20 years of logistic experience in the U.S military preferred.
- Extensive shipboard aviation logistics experience including AVCAL and SHORCAL.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business discipline is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook) is required.
- Experience with financial management in the Navy.
- Proficiency in the following areas will be required – AVCAL, SHORCAL, AECL SASS, NALCOMIS, R-SUPPLY,
ERP, FLEXCAL, ATFLIR, NAVSUP OneTouch, familiarity with WSPD. - Experience with the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program.
- Experience with automated supply/maintenance management, supply system query programs, shipment channels, and standard supply processes.
Security Clearance:
Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and obtain the required security clearance for the position.

Senior Logistics Analyst - Aviation Support
Job Title: Senior Logistics Analyst - Shipboard Aviation
Location: San Diego, CA
Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the San Diego, CA area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.
Duties:
The performance of this work requires the application of broad knowledge of a wide variety of logistics support activities necessary to support Navy Operations. These include, but are not limited to:
- Provide services in connection with aviation supply outfitting support including developing AVCAL and SHORCAL product listings and reviewing IMRL listing for accuracy to meet the requirements.
- Initiate and review configuration management and outfitting directives and monitor progress toward
completion of established milestones. - Ensure compliance of outfitting milestones for the Allowancing of CVNs, LHA/LHDs, ashore aviation support activities (NAS/NAF) and MALS.
- Provide Aviation Allowance Outfitting and database processing training to COMNAVAIRPAC/LANT units to develop AVCAL, SHORCAL, ISAL, SASS and ACR submission.
- Coordinate movement of Flexible AVCAL (FlexCAL) material such as Advance Tactical Forward Looking Infer Red (ATFLIR), Lightning PODS, and other limited assets with CNAL for deployment and or priority use.
- Maintain historical database and files of completed AVCAL and SHORCAL reviews and products.
- Provide services in connection with aviation supply/logistic management for afloat activities.
- Prepare reports and submit results, with recommendations for improvements, for all inspections and assessments conducted.
- Conduct reviews of new and existing supply systems and programs and provide draft reports of findings with recommendations for corrective actions, improvements, or solutions.
- Develop aviation supply policies and procedures utilizing the new and existing supply systems and programs.
- Conduct training for new and existing supply systems and programs to ashore / afloat aviation activities and other commands and units. Develop, analyze, conduct operational audits, and prepare follow-up reports evaluating effectiveness of systems implementations.
- Conduct studies, review findings, make recommendations for improved operating procedures and policies concerning IMRL, SASS, AECLs, and future logistics, supply and maintenance program initiatives.
- Support the Government in research and development of Force Supply policies, procedures and guidance to be provided to CNAF/CNAP supported units.
- Collect, review, monitor and analyze data received from supported activities.
- Employ analytical methods to ascertain state of aviation readiness at ashore aviation units and to improve decision making at ashore aviation units to improve flight line readiness.
- Design, build and maintain a historical and trend analysis database required to evaluate and monitor performance metrics.
- Evaluate current Access database files and Excel spreadsheets and recommend improvement for performance metrics and management tool applications.
Compensation Minimum: $85,000.00
Compensation Maximum: $92,000.00
