Job Requirements of MANAGEMENT ANALYST:
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience supporting programs, projects and senior level leadership; DoD experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, as well as Microsoft Teams experience
- Experience preparing periodic reports, dashboards, briefs and presentations for senior leadership
- Ability to manage workload and schedule across multiple projects
- Communication skills and teamwork
- Excellent ability to effectively communicate professionally with, and on behalf of senior leadership, both verbally and in writing
- Experience managing and prioritizing tasks, including monitoring compliance of official taskers
- Ability to present to small and large groups
- Experience with human resources activities and functions including developing position descriptions and performance reviews
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work and productivity
- US Citizen and capable of passing a National Agency Check with Investigation

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.

MANAGEMENT ANALYST
Location: Silver Spring, MD
Security Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance. An active Secret security clearance is preferred, but not required.
Job Summary:
Management Analyst needed to lead a support team for a Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Agency (DHA) office. The position supports senior executive leadership activities across multiple programs and projects. management professional with experience supporting DoD programs and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
The Management Analyst activities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze organizational and directorate needs to determine operational and compliance requirements and provide recommendations for problem solving and process improvement
- Maintain organizational operational documentation including rosters, records, reports to DHA leadership, policies, operational plans and SOPs; and create system for information and knowledge management.
- Prepare read-aheads, briefs and presentations for Branch Chief to support the program’s multiple projects and initiatives in support of the mission
- Coordinate tasks among multiple participants, including prioritizing, tracking and monitoring compliance within DoD and VA task management systems
- Track tasks and projects, and manage leadership schedule and appearances for Branch Chief
- Support tasks related to human resource position descriptions and performance reviews for civilian personnel
- Draft privileged communication for senior leadership and coordinate communications responses; and draft correspondence, memoranda, reports and briefs
- Lead team of support staff in overall program and leadership support activities; assign and monitor work; perform quality control activities; manage risk
- Coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders to gather statuses and produce weekly reports and briefs; and evaluate reporting requirements to recommend streamlined solutions
- Other duties as assigned
