Job Requirements of Program Security OPSEC Analyst L3:
Skills / Experience Required
- Current Top Secret with SCI clearance
- 10+ years of experience as an OPSEC and/or Information Operations (IO) analyst or planner, supporting mission-critical defense initiatives.
- In-depth experience conducting OPSEC assessments, identifying potential indicators, and developing effective countermeasures aligned with DoD missions and critical functions.
- Proven expertise in OPSEC plan development, including the creation and management of Critical Information and Indicators Lists (CIIL).
- Skilled in performing comprehensive vulnerability assessments by evaluating operational procedures, communication systems, and information flows—delivering actionable findings and mitigation strategies.
- Strong background in risk analysis, assessing the impact of compromised information and providing security recommendations to protect organizational objectives.
- Experience in designing and delivering OPSEC training and awareness programs to educate personnel on key principles, best practices, and policy compliance.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a track record of monitoring, auditing, and improving OPSEC posture, and supporting organizational assessments for both OPSEC and IO compliance.
- Proficient in analyzing intelligence products to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and trends that impact operational security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and deliver high-impact briefings to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, ensuring OPSEC is embedded throughout operational planning, processes, and organizational culture.
- Broad capabilities across multiple domains to include Lifecycle management of security and OPSEC programs, Threat and vulnerability analysis, including anti-terrorism scenario modeling and simulations, Risk management planning, crisis and consequence management, Security architecture reviews (physical, cyber, mechanical, structural), Continuity planning and training performance analysis, Implementation of lessons learned and enforcement of operational security standards
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Program Security – Operations Security (OPSEC) Analyst Level 3 to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to directly support the United States Space Force (USSF) in driving mission success and advancing the future of space operations.
In this role, you will conduct OPSEC and vulnerability assessments, perform risk analysis, develop OPSEC plans, deliver training and awareness, monitor compliance, and prepare reports and briefings for leadership. You’ll work closely with USSF stakeholders to support the development and sustainment of advanced test and training capabilities critical to maintaining space superiority.
We’re looking for someone who brings technical expertise, strategic insight, and strong communication skills—an individual passionate about supporting the USSF mission in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Compensation Minimum: $115,000
Compensation Maximum: $130,000
